Cookie Policy
1. About This Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Besample, Inc. ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on getbesample.com (the "Service"). It supplements our Privacy Policy.
getbesample.com is a business-to-business platform for market research agencies. The cookies we set are limited to what is needed to operate the site, maintain your session, and measure aggregate usage. We do not set advertising cookies or share cookie data with marketing networks.
2. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow us to recognize your device across page views, maintain your session state, store basic preferences, and measure how the site is used in aggregate. We also use related technologies such as browser local storage (for example, to store your cookie-notice dismissal preference).
3. How We Use Cookies
| Category | Examples | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Session token, CSRF protection, cookie-notice dismissal state (localStorage) | Session to 12 months |
| Preferences | UI state preferences (for example, navigation open or closed on mobile) | Up to 12 months |
| Analytics | Anonymized page-view and referrer data, self-hosted or privacy-preserving analytics | Up to 13 months |
| Marketing | Not currently used | N/A |
We do not set third-party advertising cookies or participate in behavioral retargeting. Analytics cookies, where used, are configured to anonymize IP addresses and not share individual-level data with third-party advertising platforms.
4. Notice and Choice
By continuing to use the Service, you acknowledge our use of cookies as described in this Policy. A notice banner appears on your first visit; dismissing it stores a timestamp in your browser's local storage, suppressing the banner for six months. You may reopen the cookie preferences panel at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the site footer.
You can also opt out of non-essential cookies by configuring your browser to block or delete cookies (see Section 7).
5. Universal Opt-Out Signals
Where applicable state law requires (for example, in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and Oregon), we honor browser-transmitted opt-out signals such as the Global Privacy Control ("GPC"). When GPC is detected on a page load, we suppress analytics initialization for that session regardless of your prior dismissal state. Because Besample does not sell personal information and does not conduct cross-context behavioral advertising, GPC affects only analytics initialization.
6. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies may be set by third-party service providers acting on our behalf, such as analytics providers. We have data-processing agreements with such providers that limit their use of data to operating the service on our behalf and prohibit them from using it for their own advertising or profiling purposes.
7. Managing Cookies
- Use the "Cookie preferences" link in the site footer to revisit the cookie notice and opt out of analytics.
- Browser settings allow you to block or delete cookies site-wide; see aboutcookies.org for browser-specific instructions.
- Blocking strictly necessary cookies (for example, session tokens) may prevent certain parts of the Service from functioning correctly, including the sign-in flow.
8. Changes and Contact
We may update this Policy as our use of cookies evolves. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any change. For questions about this Policy, contact us at:
